Bio:

Pete Cross has spent nearly twenty years teaching and directing children’s theatre in Ohio, where he was born and raised.  He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Toledo, obtaining degrees in Art History and Psychology.  Returning to the university in 2004 to study acting, Pete had the opportunity to participate in several productions including the U.S. premiere of recovery by Canadian playwright Greg MacArthur, a staged reading of Rayne Arroyo’s Horatio: An Inquisition directed by Annie Ruth, and Cornel Gabara’s production of Action, which was the closing presentation of the 7th Annual International Festival of Drama in English held in Debrecen, in 2006.  Pete currently attends the California Institute of the Arts where he will receive his MFA in Acting in May of 2010.  At Cal Arts he is very fortunate to be studying speech under Denise Woods.

Currently living in Los Angeles, Pete is a founding member of the L.A. based theatre company Furious Sleeper, with which he returned to Hungary in March of 2008 to perform and teach acting workshops; a new project is currently in development and Pete looks forward to teaching theatre classes for the University of Debrecen in the spring of 2009.
