Bio: Phil Hubbard heads the acting program in the Department of Theatre at UNLV (University of Nevada Las Vegas). He teaches Acting Styles, Speech & Dialects and is a resident actor with the Nevada Conservatory Theatre (UNLV's on campus professional company). He has appeared in the NCT productions of Annie (Warbucks), A Man For All Seasons (Henry VIII), Hamlet (Claudius), Tartuffe (Orgon) and Inherit the Wind (Reverend Brown). For the past seven seasons he has appeared at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in many roles including Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night Capulet in Romeo & Juliet, John Dickinson in 1776, Lord Hastings in Richard III, Owen Glendower in Henry IV Part One, Corin in As You Like It, Gregory Wagner in Room Service and many others. His regional credits include appearances at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, PCPA Theatrefest, The Muni Opera and Cabrillo Stage. He received his MFA in Acting at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Hubbard is a member of Actor's Equity Association and the Voice & Speech Trainers Association (VASTA).
