Bio:Joseph Papke is a freelance dialect/text coach in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Theaters he's coached at include Park Square Theatre, Penumbra Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, Starting Gate, Theatre Unbound, and Theater in the Round. He teaches acting, improv, and dialects for Youth Performance Company, an educational theater dedicated to developing young artists.
In addition to coaching, he is an Actor's Equity Membership Candidate. His professional acting credits include Park Square Theatre, Actor's Theatre of Minnesota, Illusion Theatre, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, Dudley Riggs', and the Children's Theatre Company.
Joseph is also a co-founder and artistic associate of Theatre Pro Rata, which is dedicated to providing opportunities for talented, local artists through creating text-based, actor-centered, process-driven theater.
