Bio: Krista Scott is a visting assistant professor at the University of Connecticut, and also serves a voice/text coach for Connecticut Repertory Theatre. She is certified as an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework working toward master teacher status, and has coached for theatres including the Kitchen Theatre and the Hangar Theatre (Ithaca, NY), Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Mirth Theatre, Cornell University and various other colleges in central NY and PA.  Prior university teaching/directing posts were held at Syracuse University, Ithaca College, University of Mississippi, and the  American University in Cairo.

Krista was Co-founder and Associate Director of The New Tradition Theatre Company in St. Cloud MN from 1986 to 1995; there she performed the functions of playwright, director, actor, educator, director, et al. She has acted professionally with such companies as Hangar Theatre, Kitchen Theater, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Nebraska Repertory, and Nebraska Theatre Caravan.  Other acting credits include the lead roles in "Hedda Gabler" and "Love Letters" in Cairo, Egypt.  She received her M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Minnesota and a B.F.A in Acting/Directing from Emporia State University (KS).
