TRANSCRIPTION OF UNSCRIPTED SPEECH
Well, I think I was about, uh (exhales) four years old in the kin-kindergarten and I used to play a lot with guns and machines, you know, all sort of, not dolls and… And once, in – in one day, in the kindergarten, um, the, um, teacher said, “Okay. All the girls on the right, all the boys on the left. We are – we gonna have some games here,” and, you know. And I went with the boys. And she said, “What are you doin’? You are a girl. You – you’re not supposed to say – s-stay with – with the boys,” and I said, “Oh no, I’m a boy,” and she ask, “Oh, how come? You have earrings.” Because here only girls wear, you know. And I said, “No. I’m a modern boy. I wear earrings.” So that’s it. Everybody laughed, of course. And my mother was, “Oh god. How could you do that?”
