Projects and Clients

Since its conception in August of 2003, the laboratory continues to provide service to industrial clients, the NIH, the Department of Defense as well as a variety of other research and charitable organizations. Past projects with the DOD focused on the stabilization of potential vaccines against weapons of bioterrorism and the work included both physical and chemical stability studies of potential vaccines against anthrax, valley fever, and adenovirus infections. Our work with industrial clients and foundations has included characterization, stabilization and formulation of protein pharmaceuticals and vaccine antigens (bacterial, viral, virus like particles, DNA therapeutics and recombinant proteins). A critical component of this work involves the characterization and stabilization of antigens on aluminum salt adjuvants. Industrial clients include Allergan, B&D Technologies, Curagen, Fibrogen, Genzyme, BayHill, Monsanto, West Pharmaceuticals, Amylin, DorBiopharma, LigoCyte, Medimmune, Schering Plough, Novartis, Sanofi Pasteur, Wyeth, and Acambis among others.
