The Road to Enlightenment

Research projects:

  • I am currently working on a book on the political and ethical bases for intervention in interpersonal, intercultural, and international affairs.
  • I am also working on papers on various aspects of Amartya Sen’s philosophy, on domestic violence statistics, and on contractarian moral and political philosophy.

Teaching

  • I am on sabbatical in Spring 2012.

Teaching

I teach courses in philosophy of science and social science, feminist theory, rational choice theory and introduction to social and political philosophy. I have taught seminars in rationality, history and philosophy of economics, personal identity, anti-foundational epistemology, common knowledge, and feminism and the ideal of equality, and the philosophy of John Stuart Mill.
