Feminist Philosophy in the Analytic Tradition

The
Society for Analytical Feminism is sponsoring an invited author meets critic
session on Ann Cudd’s Analyzing Oppression for this joint conference. In addition, the Society invites
submissions for the SAF mini-conference to be held in conjunction with the
annual ESWIP meeting. The Society seeks
papers that examine feminist issues by methods broadly construed as analytic,
or discuss the use of analytic philosophical methods as applied to feminist
issues. Reading time should be about 20 minutes. Authors should submit four
copies of either (1) a paper 12-14 pages, or (2) an extended abstract 2-3
pages, accompanied by a bibliography. All submissions will be anonymously
reviewed; names should appear only on cover page or letter.

DEADLINE: October 1, 2006 (email or
postmark)
Decisions
are expected by October 15, 2006.

Note: This CFP is in addition to
the annual Society CFP for the Central Division meeting. Please note the different due date (Oct. 9 is
the due date for the Central Division CFP).
If you would like your submission considered for both meetings please indicate
this in your cover letter or in an email, noting clearly which meeting is your
first choice. Papers will not be
accepted to both meetings.
