MD Dialogues
Conversations
Published
in the MD Dialogues Section:
- Conversation with James Tobin and Robert Shiller on the "Yale
Tradition in Macroeconomics," conducted by David Colander (published in
vol 3, no 1,
1999)
MD's Nonoverlap Constraint
Nonoverlap
Policy: At the present time, this journal has a
policy of not interviewing, in one-on-one
interviews, those individuals who have been or are being interviewed by
the
Cambridge University Press journal, Econometric Theory,
edited
by Peter Phillips. Examples, include Hendry, Granger, Tobin, Malinvaud,
Klein,
Bergstrom, and Chow. However, group conversations on a particular topic
for
the Dialogues Section of MD can include any of the individuals
interviewed
in a one-on-one ET Interview, so long as the topic of the MD
Dialogue does not unreasonably overlap the topic of a similar group ET
Dialogue. The "Yale Tradition" Dialogue published MD is an
example,
since it includes Tobin, who is the subject of an individual ET
Interview.
Suggestions and proposals for published Conversations for the Dialogues
Section
are welcome.
