TRANSCRIPTION OF UNSCRIPTED SPEECH

I was born in Kaohs—no, Taipei, Taiwan. And I grew up in Kaohsiung – it’s the second-largest city in Taiwan. I started learning English when I was twelve. Then (ah) after I graduated from college I came to the U.S. for my graduate studies. I study music therapy, which we use music to address clients on non-musical goals such as cognitive, physical, emotional, psychosocial, and so on. So that’s what I’m doing here now in Lawrence, Kansas. So I started learning English when I was twelve; I started wi—started with alphabets, and lear—and then I learned English when I was in high school through college. It was a pretty long time. It has been like twelve years up to now. And I like speaking English, so that’s why I came here I guess.
