“I’m from Vietnam, were born in Vietnam, and…what town?  It’s in Saigon, in the south. That’s very small. the city itself is small so…everybody there isn’t a stranger, and they’re different.  Yeah, it’s a city.  One of the bigger cities in Vietnam, so it’s very populated…area.   It’s a urban area.  I started learning English from first grade in Vietnam…but not actually using it a lot until when I get come here when I’m in…somewhere (?) year in high school, so that’s where I begin really to learn English.  In somewhere year in high school, during high school.  what year?  Uhh, two thousand…somewhere around there a little bit earlier…I’ve always lived here in California.  Umm, the one in Fullerton Valley’s high school…just uh, one younger brother. Umm, He’s about…let’s see, he’s in high school right now.  My brother had a hamster.  I don’t know about uh, his hamster, so.”
