Um, well I actually grow…uh, grew up on a little—very small island, uh, in the Lomaiviti Group…uh, it’s called, um, Batiki.  And, uh, I come from a very big family, as you might have guessed, ___________.  Fijians, we come from a very extended families.  So, uh, yeah. I come from a little island, out on the Lomaiviti Groups um, called, uh, Batiki.  And, uh, in my family, um, I’m the eldest in the family.  And I have three younger brothers.  Um…at the moment I work for a company, ___________________, who, which specializes in teak.  And I also do my massage on the side.  So the hours that I work for the other company is very flexible, so I’m able to do this massaging as well. Uh,  I plan to get married someday, but not right now.  So, um…  Sometimes yes, sometimes they ask me, “when are you going to get married?” But I’m not ready to do that just yet.  I’m very happy being single.  I like my life being single, and, um… I think the time will come when I’ll find someone.

RECORDED BY DAVID NEVELL 7/04/08.  NOTES AND UNSCRIPTED TRANSCRIPTION BY JOE CALARCO.
