Transcription of Unscripted Speech

Ida was born December 7, uh, 1982, uh, I had 2 doctors and 6 nurses...uh, her first part when she was born uh, it was 'till the waist, and the doctor, amazingly, took that as whether she's boy or a girl, and out of the 8 professionals, the 2 doctors and the 6 nurses...7 said boy...and he said girl, because he knew, I am sure he knew ahead of time, and it was a girl... uh, but a beautiful girl, and the nurses told me, "Oh, she's got the longest lashes", and I thought they said that to every mom, so to--to make them feel good, but, when I checked the nursery, I saw she had long lashes and she--she still does.
