I'm from Belarus. I was born in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. And it's a big city, it's almost three million people. Almost as big as Toronto but it's a very compact city. And um *people in Belarus they tend to have um small country houses. And my parents, my pa..father actually when I was fourteen he bought the house and in the countryside. Humm it's beautiful, mm very beautiful place, small village and it was o.. house was very old and we repaired it a lot. And s.. mm next to the house was the big forest. Actually in Belarus a lot of forest, it's forest land. E..Everywhere, like, forest. And I remember like we mm usually, see in in Belarus mm, not like in Canada, we didn't have so much fruits and vegetables, and in summertime we actually needed to go to the forest and pick up some wild raspberries, some str..small strawberries and it was nice time. And I remember very early morning in the forest, it's almost like um almost dark and we were [...] struggle through the forest to find this open place where mm trees were cut down three years ago or four years ago, and *oh mm wild ra..raspberries start..started to grow. And it's the best raspberries because they have enough sun and it's very sweet and mm flavour.. mm. How to say? Have a lot of fla.. flavo.., yes, flavour. And then we like we, we picked we picked them up might might be for three, four hours and in big mountains, and then we brought it back. We bring this whole st..strawberries, strawberry raspberry stuff at home and Mother made jam. It's a just nice. Wild bees were like flied around. Just nice time.
