I grew up uh, in South-west Germany..in the area of Stuttgart. I've lived in um...in the (?) of Germany, at the border of Switzerland..uh, I've lived half a year in London in--in England. I've lived in uh, Cape Town, South Africa for half a year...and, now I've lived in New York City for almost 5 years. Um...I learned English in school...and every student has 2 in Germany, we started uh, learning English at the--in the 5th grade. Nowadays, I think they start in 2nd or 3rd grade, but I was never very good in English at school, so I forced myself to um, practical training while I was at college. So I went to--to London, this was my first stay abroad for--longer than a vacation. I was doing my uh, final thesis my...when uh, after studying for my college degree (unclear.)
