TRANSCRIPTION OF UNSCRIPTED SPEECH
I was born in Florence on the seventh of November, 1973.  I have a younger brother.  He’s 18 months ol….. younger than me.  Umm, he still lives in Florence where the rest of my family lives.  I live here and I have two children.  I teach and I’m a waitress, I’m a student, I’m a baby-sitter, and I’m a tutor.  I have friends, probably more acquaintances than friends.  I do love my students whom I call rosebushes and uh I enjoy everything I do, except being alone.  My favorite holiday is probably Valentine’s Day because uh I always hope that the prince charming will come and sweep me away on his uh white stallion um and I’m always hoping to receive roses from a secret admirer or some anonymous letter or anonymous card.

SAMPLE RECORDED, SPEECH TRANSCRIBED, AND NOTES WRITTEN BY KIRBY ANDERSON ON APRIL 30, 2009.
