I was born and raised in a city called ______________ in ___ which is southwest of Iran. And at the time the place had about a population of two hundred thousand, but now it has a population of about two million. In fact, I was there in August after ten years and it has a population of about two million. Extremely hot. In fact, this summer that I was there the temperature was somewhere between one hundred twenty five to one hundred and thirty. Extremely hot, unbearable. So this summer I went there visited my sisters and brothers but I was brought up in that city and we never felt the heat, not at all. In fact, during the summer when we didn't go school, we played soccer bare-footed on asphalt outside and we didn't complain. And we did not know anything different to complai… so we had nothing to compare. And in our house we had only one room with a fan, a ceiling fan. No air conditioning, one room with a ceiling fan, and extremely hot.
Followed by speech in Persian.
