Missouri Twenty - Text

A Caucasian male, born in 1953, raised in boyhood home of Mark Twain, Hannibal, Missouri. A stone carver by profession in Lawrence, Kansas, and a hillbilly by speech. He has much of a self proclaimed "twang" in his voice, as well as a very tight mouth from which he makes his vowels. His calm demeanor is even evident in his recording. Stories of his boyhood on the river make him completely honest; you know he'd do anything for you. Interviewed by Ryan Butts, 4.19.02. Edited by Paul Meier the same day. Running time 00:05:41.
