TRANSCRIPTION OF UNSCRIPTED SPEECH
It was an elderly lady. She was in a wheelchair. And she came today and she… uh…asked me to move all these chairs for her to sit at the table and then she decided she had to use the bathroom so they took her in there. And she was walking fine this morning but she said she had took a pain pill and it had knocked her out, and she couldn’t move, couldn’t move her legs and her feet and all and she stood up. And no she didn’t stand up out of her wheelchair she fell out of it into the bathroom and laid on the floor. It took a lot of people to get her up. She stayed in there until about maybe 10 or 15 minutes before the boat left . . . said she still had to use the bathroom. And I think she finally did but then when she got off the stool, down on the floor she went again. And the poor old … ?... had to go in and get her and get her in the wheelchair then he finally rolled her up to the dock to get her aboard the boat. So we had a day with her. She didn’t see Tangier. She didn’t see nothin’ of Tangier, other than comin’ down from the dock. She never ate. Nope. And her friend with her never did, she stayed right in there with her. And another lady friend.
