This site was created through the joint effort of the Department of Teaching and Leadership and Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas, to assist educators at all levels (pre-service, in-service, and higher-ed) in understanding and educating their increasingly diverse populations.
As a portal to a variety of online resources, this site introduces an educator
to the different disability groups and provides suggestions for addressing
the academic, behavioral, and social needs of these populations. Links are
grouped by academic category and disability area. In addition, links to activities
that will deepen your understanding of addressing diverse populations are
provided. Each Academic Category lists both
Web Resources and
Document Resources by disability on each page. Select
a category or disability below.
