KU Technical Writing Program Graduates

The University of Kansas technical communication program's first students have completed the complete program. A student can only be considered a KUTC grad by having successfully completed all of the following:

  • Foundations of Technical Writing (English 362)
  • Advanced Technical Writing I (English 562)
  • Advanced Technical Editing (English 564)
  • Advanced Technical Writing / Editing II (English 563)
    - or -
  • Technical Communication Internship

This page lists program graduates by date of completion:

2007
         Lindsey Buscher (formerly Rippel)
         Patrick Palmer

2006
         Kirby Zimmerman

Other serious KUTC students might not have completed the entire program but have taken a number of the courses. If a job applicant states that they have completed a significant portion of the program, feel free to verify this with Chris McKitterick. Many fine students have demonstrated their writing, editing, and research skills in our courses.
